The Lumitester PCE-ATP 1 is used to quickly and easily check the cleanliness of surfaces. The Lumitester shows a measurement result on the large LC display after only 10 seconds. The internal memory of the luminometer can store up to 10000 measurement data sets with time and date. The Lumitester PCE-ATP 1 with use of the associated PCE-ATP SwapPen, allows a fast detection of food or microbiological residues on all surfaces in contact with the product as an effectiveness test of cleaning and disinfection measures. The quantitative determination of intra- and extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is performed in the portable Lumitester PCE-ATP 1.

The measurement data from the Lumitester can be stored and further processed following the measurement. The Lumitester is used for hygiene control in pharmacy, medicine, gastronomy, wholesale, etc.. Measurements with the Lumitester are carried out using the ATP test tubes provided for this purpose. The surface is sampled with the swab contained in the tube. The swab is then pressed all the way down into the tube, bringing it into contact with the reaction liquid and the actual reagent. Shaking gently causes the reaction liquid to collect in the reaction chamber of the tube. The entire test tube is then inserted into the measuring chamber of the Lumitester PCE-ATP 1. The measurement is then started. After 10 seconds, the measurement result is shown in RLU (Relative Light Units) on the display of the Lumitester.
