PCE-4PCFM clamp force tester is a 4 point force knife which can ensure the optimum clamp force distribution. For the transport of white goods (refrigerators, washing machines etc.) and brown goods (consumer electronics) larger and larger large area clamps are used. The aim is to be able to safely move as much merchandise as possible in one work step. To ensure this, the clamp arms are provided with several adjustment points, which allow the user to set an even distribution of the clamp force on the load. The PCE-4PCFM equipment clamp tester is designed for just this purpose.

The clamp force tester simultaneously determines the occurring compressive forces / clamp forces at 4 different measuring points. Each of these 4 force sensors can record a maximum force of up to 3t. The force is shown in the color display of the 4 point measuring trolley with a resolution of 1 kg. The force of each individual sensor, as well as the sums of several sensors are displayed and also shown as a percentage of the total force. The forces can be displayed in kg / N / kN and lb. This allows the user to quickly and easily check and adjust the force distribution of the large area clamp.

In the clamp force tester, the operator, as well as the device clamp identification number can be entered, which can then be printed out with the determined measured values and optionally stored on a USB stick in tabular form. This helps in the documentation of the checked device clamps and is used by many service providers in calibration, as well as regular recalibration.

Another function of the measuring trolley is the possibility to set a target value for the respective measuring point as well as for the total force. If this value is undershot or overshot, the display shows this in color and can quickly indicate a fault to the operator. The four measuring points of the force tester can be easily moved and thus adapted to the different attachments. The implement clamp tester is powered by a rechargeable battery, which allows for mobile use. The four-point tester gives you the opportunity to quickly and easily check and, if necessary, adjust the settings on the equipment clamp to prevent damage to the goods being transported due to incorrect force distribution.
