The heating mantle PCE-HM 2000 is an auxiliary device which is used in laboratories. The heating hood helps you to heat or temper different samples or chemicals in the laboratory. The device has a crocheted net inside, in which you can hang the round-bottom flask to heat it up. The round-bottom flask is the typical shape of the glass vessels that are placed in the heating hood. The round-bottom flask is a vessel of up to 2000 ml in size, which allows the liquid to be appropriately contained.

The temperature range of the heating mantle is from 0 to 450 °C and this temperature is set directly on the heating mantle via an infinitely variable rotary switch.
