Steel-Faced Bumpers have outstanding resistance to abrasion from the up and down trailer movement caused by forklifts entering and exiting the trailer. They offer a low lifetime ownership cost due to longer wear expectancy with fewer replacements. The 3/8" (9.5mm) heavy-duty steel face "floats" to allow the bumper to compress while providing high surface abrasion protection. The face is attached to durable, 100% recycled, fabric reinforced rubber pads laminated between steel angles and secured with 3/4" rods. Best suited to high traffic docks, they are fastened to the dock surface through 1/4" steel side angles and/or flat plates for welding, depending on the model chosen. All Steel-Faced Bumpers come with a five year replacement warranty. There are over 140 standard sizes available including vertical, horizontal and L-shaped models, suitable for a full range of protection applications. Customized sizing and bracketing are also available.
