Grate Guardian with Oil Absorbing Spilltration technology is specifically designed to remove oily sheen from stormwater, while also preventing sediment & debris. Simply position the magnetic Grate Guardian in the desired location on the grate and let the magnets do the work. Once installed, water passes through while oil is instantly absorbed and sediment is stopped in its tracks. Unlike inserts, the sediment and debris is captured before it enters the catch basin, making it easier to clean and maintain. The raised middle overflow port prevents ponding in high flow situations, while the industrial mesh top cover protects against damage from vehicle traffic.
